Switch from Calendly with a one-click import
You don't rebuild anything. CalenQ's built-in importer copies your event types, availability, booking history, and contacts straight out of Calendly. Here's the whole process, step by step.
The 5-step switch
Start your free trial
Sign up at CalenQ, 15 days free, no credit card. Takes about 20 seconds.
Connect your calendar
Link Google or Outlook so your real availability is respected and new bookings land automatically.
Import from Calendly in one click
In Settings, open the Calendly importer and paste a personal access token from your Calendly account. CalenQ imports your event types, availability schedules, booking history, and contacts, and you can undo the whole run if you change your mind.
Review and brand your page
Check the imported event types, then put your logo, name, and accent color on the page and emails so the experience reads as yours.
Swap the link everywhere
Update your bio, email signature, and site. Keep Calendly live for a short overlap so no in-flight booking is missed, then cancel it.
What the importer brings over
The importer is built into CalenQ (Settings → Import from Calendly). You paste a personal access token from your Calendly account, pick what to bring, and it handles the rest:
- Event types: titles, durations, and descriptions, recreated as CalenQ booking types.
- Availability schedules: your weekly hours, converted to your timezone.
- Booking history: past and upcoming Calendly bookings land in your CalenQ dashboard, marked as imported. No duplicate emails or invites are sent.
- Contacts: everyone who ever booked you becomes a CRM contact with their history attached.
Every run can be undone in one click, and re-running it later picks up where it left off instead of creating duplicates.
Will I lose anything?
No. Your actual appointments live on your Google/Outlook calendar, and CalenQ reads that calendar directly, so every existing event is respected for availability from minute one. The importer copies your Calendly records on top of that, so your history and contacts come with you. The only manual step is pointing your booking link at CalenQ instead of Calendly. Keep both live for a short overlap so no in-flight booking slips, then cancel Calendly and stop paying the monthly fee.
Questions, answered
Switching from Calendly, FAQ
Everything people check before they move.
How long does it take to switch from Calendly?
A few minutes. Connect your calendar, then run the built-in Calendly importer: paste a personal access token from your Calendly account and CalenQ imports your event types, availability schedules, booking history, and contacts in one pass. Share your new link and you're done.
Do I have to recreate everything manually?
No. The importer recreates your event types (title, duration, description) and availability schedules for you, and brings your booking history and contacts along so your records don't start from zero. You only review the result and tweak what you want.
Will I lose my existing Calendly bookings?
No. Appointments already on your Google or Outlook calendar stay there, and CalenQ reads that calendar for availability. The importer also copies your Calendly booking history into CalenQ, so past and upcoming bookings show up in your dashboard and CRM.
What if the import brings over something I didn't want?
Undo it. The importer keeps track of everything it created and can reverse the whole run with one click, without touching anything you built natively in CalenQ.
What about my Calendly link that's already in my bio and emails?
Update it to your new CalenQ link. Keep Calendly active for a short overlap so no in-flight booking is missed, then switch fully and stop paying the monthly fee.
Is there any cost to try it first?
No. There's a 15-day free trial with no card. Import your Calendly setup, test it with a real booking, and only pay the one-time $39 if you keep it.
